Rank Structure
Guild Leader: This one is pretty self explanatory. While WoW only allows for one guild “administrator”, we have 2 guild leaders. We share the role and responsibility of guild management. With 2 guild leaders, we in essence have our own system of checks and balances.
Guild Treasurer: This rank is assigned by the guild leaders to 1 member who is highly trusted by not only the leaders but the membership as well. This person keeps the guild bank and its assets organized. They watch over the guild bank and its log to assure that the assets of the guild are not being abused and reports to the guild leaders. This person also holds the same responsibilities as Officer.
Officer: We have 7 Officer positions. The Officer position is fluid in that we hold Officer elections approximately every 6 months. The Officers are elected by the membership and are expected to handle day to day management of the guild.
1. Officers must have all “active” characters in the guild to insure their dedication to the guild and its membership.
2. Officers may present, vote to amend, remove, and/or add to policies and guidelines regulating the Guild.
3. Officers are expected to view and participate as necessary on the guild webpage for changes and announcements.
4. Officers are expected to remember that they are elected by the membership and act accordingly.
Veteran: Veteran is exactly what the name implies. A veteran is a seasoned WaC member. While a Veteran may have a minimal number of “active” characters outside of the guild for other purposes, they are expected to be active and supportive in WaC. These are the people to whom a member or petitioner would go to with game play, guild activity and/or general knowledge questions.
1. The Veterans in our guild are granted the power for recruitment into the guild.
2. They are responsible for having a diverse knowledge of the game/WaC and a genuine concern for the guild and all its players.
3. Veterans are expected to view the guild webpage for changes and announcements.
4. Veterans are typically voted into or out of this position during regular Officer meetings but can be moved to or from that position as deemed necessary (with good reason) by an Officer or Guild Leader.
Member: The Members are the “heart and soul” of our guild. It is the Members who truly rule here. It is the Members who elect the Officers from the membership.
1. Members are expected to be friendly.
2. Members are expected to have fun.
3. Members wishing to invite friends should contact a Veteran or above.
4. Members are encouraged to view the guild webpage for announcements, events, post comments, video’s, pictures, shout outs, ect..
5. Members must remember that this is “Warning Adult Content” and is not censored. This is not a place for the faint of heart. Topics of conversation / social interactions can be far from “politically correct” at times. It is NOT a place for mean, derogatory or slandering statements to, or about other members and that type of behavior will not be tolerated.
Petitioner: This rank is used for members that have been just invited to join the guild. It is a trial position during which we can get to know each other and determine if WaC is a place for you. This trial period should last no longer than 30 days.
1. Petitioners must be at least 18 years of age and exhibit mature qualities.
2. Anyone inviting a Petitioner to the guild should have some knowledge of their personal qualities. You are in essence the Petitioners sponsor. (No blind invites)
3. A newly invited Petitioner will be asked a first name or nickname to be put in the notes along with a date of invite and person inviting.
4. Petitioners are expected to remember the name of their sponsor.
Asshat: Sooooo…you’ve been demoted to Asshat have you?
You’ve just done something silly, stupid or otherwise embarrassing and you are being picked on. This rank is for “fun” purposes only and should not be taken seriously. You will hold the rank for no more than an evening…and will probably not hold it alone.
AFK: From time to time real life interrupts game play for indefinite lengths of time. This could be due to unforeseen life events, military deployment, unemployment, extended illness ect. These are members in good standing who have had to take a break from the game for whatever reason and will be welcomed and reinstated upon their return.
